David's career in risk management spans more than 30 years. As Senior Vice President, Dave provides leadership and strategic direction as part of Van Wyk's executive team. He also serves as the team leader and advisor for Van Wyk's commercial clients, working closely with the client managers to deliver innovative risk management solutions and exceptional service to our clients.
While he is versed in many areas of risk management, Dave's specialty practice areas include marine insurance, construction insurance, bond and surety, and large casualty risks. He uses his expertise and former experience as a bond underwriter and manager at a casualty and surety company in a consulting capacity for Van Wyk's clients.
