John has devoted his career to risk management and insurance. As Senior Vice President, he provides leadership and strategic direction as part of Van Wyk's executive team. He also serves as the team leader and advisor for Van Wyk's commercial clients, working closely with the client managers to deliver innovative risk management solutions and exceptional service to our clients.
John has more than 40 years of experience as an insurance company executive in underwriting, marketing and agency ownership. John is the past president of both the West Michigan Chapter of the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter's (CPCU) Society and the Michigan Association of Property & Liability Counselors (MAPLIC).
